Situated in the central part of Dalmatia near the town of Sibenik (5 miles), close to Zadar (40miles) and Split airports (50miles), Vodice is easily accessible. The town is the starting point for many excursions to  famous natural and cultural attractions. This county is the only one in Croatia with two national parks on its territory.

Named after numerous springs found in the area (voda means water), the attractive town of Vodice is also known as "Flower city" because of the vast number of plants and flowers which are being

grown there every year.
