If you fly:

• to Split or Zadar : Vodice is two hours by local bus (frequent half-hourly departures).
• to Zagreb: rent a car at Zagreb airport (3-hour-drive) or take a train/coach to Vodice
• to Dubrovnik: take a coach (app. 5 hours away) to Vodice or rent a car at the airport and drop off the car in Vodice. This is a 200-mile of breath-taking beauty along the coastal road.
• to Rijeka/Pula: same distance as Dubrovnik, just on the north of the Adriatic coast. (Also beautiful scenery.)
• to Trieste/Italy: fly RyanAir to Trieste (30 minutes from Croatian border, 1 hour from Rijeka), then rent a car, drive through Rijeka to Vodice.

By Ferry:
The Jadrolinija Ferry Company, Blueline Ferries and Adriatica Ferries run ferries from Ancona (in Italy) to Split and Zadar.

By CAR:

For the one who feel a bit adventurous and with some extra time to spare, we highly recommend to drive there. The journey will take you through several European countries and can be mostly done by motorways. You can choose to travel through Austria to Zagreb,from there join the motorway to Zadar, or travel through France and Italy and then through Rijeka along the Adriatic coast to Vodice. (Alternatively, take a ferry from Italy (Ancona) to Zadar: a bit more expensive option!)
